I. Project Background

Jiyuan, as the birthplace of the Yu Gong spirit, has always been committed to the deep integration of traditional culture and integrity education. The Yu Gong Honest Family Style Pavilion in Jiyuan City, relying on the spiritual core of the national intangible cultural heritage "Yu Gong Moves the Mountain", is positioned to "inherit honest family traditions and promote the Yu Gong spirit", creating a comprehensive education base integrating cultural display, integrity education, and research experience. With the in-depth promotion of Henan Province's "Clean Culture into Thousands of Homes" campaign, the pavilion urgently needs intelligent upgrades to optimize visitor experience.

II. Project Overview

The Yu Gong Honest Family Style Pavilion has a building area of nearly 6000㎡, exhibition area 4200㎡, with 311exhibits, and three floors of exhibition halls. It is currently the largest, most concentrated, and most complete honest family culture themed education pavilion in the province. As a demonstration base for integrity education in Henan Province, the pavilion receives more than 100,000 visitors annually from various groups including government agencies, schools, and enterprises.

Facing the growing number of visitors and complex spatial routes, traditional guide maps have problems such as "unclear orientation, weak interactivity, and insufficient information delivery", which can no longer meet the needs of visitors for intelligent experiences.

III. Project Pain Points

1.Weak spatial awareness: The courtyard layout and nested exhibition areas often cause visitors to get confused about routes. Traditional flat maps cannot locate the current position in real time, resulting in low visit efficiency.

2.Frequent guide interruptions: No intelligent guidance for vertical movement in the pavilion, cross-floor visits often break the flow, affecting visitor experience.

3. Insufficient information delivery: Exhibits rely only on static boards, which are not attractive, making it hard for visitors to quickly get key content and lacking effective channels.

IV. Solutions

For the pain points of the Yu Gong Honest Family Style Pavilion, Weixiaobang proposes the following 3D positioning navigation system solutions:

1. Full-scene 3D map construction

Using 3D modeling technology, the pavilion's layout and exhibition distribution are restored 1:1, creating an interactive 3D electronic map. Visitors can freely move, zoom, and rotate the map with two fingers, and view their current location in real time, solving the core problem of "where am I".

2. Intelligent 3D navigation optimization

  • Same-floor navigation: Enter the target hall or facility (such as restroom/service desk), and the system automatically plans the optimal navigation route based on real-time positioning. Visitors can also adjust navigation speed and method (stairs, escalator, elevator) as needed.

  • Cross-floor navigation: The system automatically identifies vertical traffic paths (stairs/escalator/elevator). When visitors need to go to different floors, the navigation route will show floor transition nodes to avoid detours.

3. AR exhibit intelligent recognition

Visitors scan the exhibit, and the system uses image recognition technology to automatically pop up a graphic introduction page, including detailed exhibit information, making up for the limitations of static boards and enhancing exhibition interest.

4. AR immersive navigation

After starting AR mode, the system overlays virtual navigation arrows and text instructions on the real scene, integrating physical space and digital information in real time. Visitors do not need to repeatedly check the map, just follow the dynamic instructions in the real scene to easily reach the target area, especially suitable for elderly visitors.

V. Application Benefits

1. Enhance spatial awareness:

With precise positioning, visitors can accurately locate their real-time position in the pavilion, reducing route confusion and time spent finding paths, effectively improving visit efficiency.

2. Optimize guide experience:

Whether same-floor or cross-floor navigation, the system can automatically plan the optimal route and meet different visitors' personalized needs, greatly improving guide experience and satisfaction.

3. Enhance information delivery:

With AR exhibit recognition, visitors can get dynamic graphic introductions of exhibits, making up for the lack of static board information and enhancing the fun and appeal of the exhibition.
